This broad and diverse background, with hands-on work with malware controls and adversary tactics, girds his deep understanding of the privacy, risk, compliance, and negligent security dimensions of this challenging area of practice.
Formerly a capital case certified defense counsel in the Army JAG Corps, he also supported military cyber operations under international humanitarian law. Previously, Doug supported US-CERT as the legal advisor, as well as national programs like EINSTEIN, the Enduring Security Framework, and information sharing frameworks.
