CYBERLAW

WHY A CYBER COUNSEL?

Do you need risk and compliance advice without having to explain
TCP/IP, TTP, VPN, and more Internet vernacular?

Doug's expertise draws from experience in cutting-edge support to military cyberspace operations, White House national cybersecurity initiatives, and DHS and Energy Department cybersecurity programs.  This broad and diverse background, with hands-on work with malware controls and adversary tactics, girds his deep understanding of the privacy, risk, compliance, and negligent security dimensions of this challenging area of practice.

Formerly a capital case certified defense counsel in the Army JAG Corps, he also supported military cyber operations under international humanitarian law.  Previously, Doug supported US-CERT as the legal advisor, as well as national programs like EINSTEIN, the Enduring Security Framework, and information sharing frameworks.

Doug is Of Counsel at Aspire IP.  Contact Doug if you need advice.

Legal Services:  data breach coaching, compliance services, litigation and litigation support, cybercrime assistance, national security law, public-private partnerships, cyber-risk services, and international cyberspace assistance.
